A very warm welcome to O’Malley’s and our tenth anniversary season! Situated at the Hotel Staffler in the heart of the village O’Malley’s is the longest established and most popular daytime and evening themed venue in Niederau. A great atmosphere, lots of historic ski and snowboard paraphernalia throughout, streamed live sport and a super friendly service are complemented by our lunchtime light bites and snacks and our range of drinks – Hofbrau, Gin bar, cocktails, teas and coffees, luxury Hot Chocolate and so much more.
A GREAT BAR & TERRACE
League, European and domestic cup football, domestic, Six Nations and European rugby, International CricketPremiereO’Malley’s is unique in the Wildschonau. An Irish bar it offers a great atmosphere, some great playlists, comfortable bar side seating and a cosy lounge. There’s a large and smaller TV showing live sport – all the games throughout the season including, Formula One and Skiing. We offer a lunchtime and afternoon snack and light bites menu and a full bar service. O’Malley’s is a ‘Hofbrau House’, has a great selection of premium Gins, a comprehensive Cocktail list, a range of speciality teas and coffees and a luxury Hot Chocolate selection. There’s a lovely heated terrace outside with plenty of seating and ‘Nail Game’ stations. The bar is open all day and evening until midnight
AFTERNOON TEA & HOT CHOCOLATE
Our ‘Great Staffler Bake Off’ continues every day, throughout the season between 1530 and 1700 (Apres Ski time!) when we offer tasty complimentary homemade cakes and biscuits to everyone buying a drink in the bar. It’s very popular and busy and everyone’s welcome. To these delicious complimentary bakes, we have a fantastic range of luxury ‘all chocolate’ white, milk and dark Hot Chocolates topped with whipped cream and marshmallows – yummy!
FOOD & SNACKS
Breakfast time – 0700 through 0930 we offer a range of filled rolls including bacon, bacon and egg, sausage, sausage and egg and our ‘full breakfast’ in a roll – bacon, egg and sausage. We offer a range of delicious pizzas lunchtimes and all afternoon complimented by our daily ‘Specials’ and a range of snacks and light bites. We only offer branded sauces and condiments – tomato, HP, mustards and vinegar.
OUR DRINKS MENU
O’Malley’s is a ‘Hofbrau House’ offering a range of beers from this famous German brewery based in Munich. There’s an extensive range of premium Gins all complemented by Fevertree tonics and some great Cocktails and shots as well as a number of speciality teas and coffees. A comprehensive wine list is supplied by the glass or bottle. Prosecco and Champagne is also available. Our comprehensive drinks menu will be published before the start of the winter season.
THE NAIL GAME
An Austrian Apres and evening institution and embraced on the O’Malley’s terrace with not just one but two logs! It’s simples! A game involving a hammer with a narrow head, a nail for each of those taking part an understanding that whoever looses buys a shot for everyone taking part! Start by tapping every nail into the log then in turn and clockwise it’s one attempt to connect hammer and nail. Round and round you go with participants dropping out as their nail is hammered in. Last one left pays! Its a great game, pretty addictive and popular and there’s no better place to play it than O’Malley’s. As with all things skilful the more you practice the better you get!
